Like all Soy shakers, Şakirt's outer body is made of pure copper and silver, and its notable difference is the elegant brass lid combined with a spin-fused stainless steel strainer.

This is because, like the Dardanelles, which connects Europe and Asia, Şakirte combines copper and silver.

Although it is produced entirely by hand by hammering 1.5 mm Solid Copper, it provides excellent vacuuming. Both the inside and outside of the upper part are coated with 50 μ sterling silver.

This product has 3 very important advantages over its stainless steel counterparts:

• Being made of thick copper and silver, it keeps the drink cold not only because of the ice used to shake it, but also thanks to its metal walls. This process occurs within a few milliseconds after you start mixing and allows you to prepare your cocktail two to three times faster than a traditional shaker.

• Since the product is made from 1.5 mm copper instead of 1 mm steel, it gives you ultimate control over when shaking, which allows the liquid inside to direct the movements of the container.

Do not use metal utensils or scratch your Soy as this will remove the coating.

Hand wash your Soy and do not put it in the dishwasher.

Use mild dishwashing detergent and do not use the metal sponge or the green side of the sponge.

Do not use the products in the microwave, after all, copper and silver are metals!

Care:

Given the nature of the metal, both copper and silver will change color and darken with use and when in contact with air, water, and acidic compounds.

This is completely normal and does not affect the cooking properties.

It is still safe to use and there are no health risks.

If you want to return them to their original state, rub your Soy with a lemon cut in half and top with table salt or baking soda.

Rinse with warm water, pat dry and voila!

As with cast iron pans, a light coating of oil before storage will protect it over time.

This method works on both copper and silver.

You can also clean products with ash (cigarette ash, fireplace ash, etc.).

You can also always use food-grade silver polish.
